We are pleased to announce that registration for the 2020 CGSAC National Gathering with keynote speaker Ann Garrido is now open!
We hope you will join us on October 24th. 😊
We hope the easy online format will enable many of you to attend.
Ann Garrido has been a catechist of the Good Shepherd since 1995. She is a formation leader at all three levels and serves on the U.S. association's formation committee. She is the founder of the Masters of Pastoral Studies in CGS at Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, Mo and is the author of several books, including A Year with Sofia Cavalletti (Ave Maria Press, 2017).
Description of Ann's Talk Many of us find CGS formation courses to be life changing experiences. We hear the voice of the Good Shepherd call our name and we want to follow! Moving from formation to practice in an atrium, however, can be a difficult transition. How do we manage the many challenges--both external and internal--that keep us from actually living atrium life with children? How do we move from the initial invitation to "follow" Christ toward the atrium to "dwelling" with Christ in the atrium?
