The purpose of this evaluation is to provide you with an opportunity to give confidential feedback on this course so that the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Association of Canada (CGSAC) may listen for ways to better serve you. You will not be identified to the formation team or course host.

There are three parts: 1) Formation Experience 2) Formation Team & Course Host 3) How can we help you?

Part 1 - Formation Experience

The rhythm of formation in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is slow, meditative and retreat-like, allowing
time for receiving presentations as given to a child, reflection, writing album pages, and practicum sessions
in an atmosphere of prayer, respect, collaboration and joy.

Please comment on the following:

The Pace

Pace is always a challenge for any team, not simply your team. When presentations were made they were slow, meditative and very beautiful. The amount of content/number of presentations to be covered, however, is the challenge for any team. The speed at which delivery happens cannot be any faster but the amount of content to be covered is going to be a perpetual problem. Having attended all these many years I can honestly say the direction and improvements made are very helpful. And now, as I ponder how this problem can be addressed, I ask myself: Is it possible to put some presentations online for the class participants only so that people may experience the presentation again and as many times as they like, just like the child, until they have had their fill? This option might allow each of us to go deeper. While it is true that people could write down the presenter's words then we would have to ask ourselves what are we doing such that people feel the need to write down these words?   I am sure that in time, an answer will come.
